Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the basic concepts of accounting including recording transactions, the accounting cycle, internal controls, and creating reports. Using QuickBooks accounting software, this course blends theoreticak knowledge with hands-on experience by creating a company, entering transactions data, generating reports and financial statements, and completing the year-end closing process. Lecture 3 hours per week.
