Catalog description

The course includes organization and jurisdiction of local, state, and federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies, organization of state and federal court systems, the philosophy and history of law enforcement, and constitutional limitations of law enforcement. It also presents an overview of crime and organized crime, police problems, and police terminology and ethics. Lecture 3 hours per week.
