Catalog description

This advanced course develops an understanding of best practices of Drone operations, based on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. The course will prepare students for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate exam, which is essential for operating a drone commercially in the United States. Topics for this course include drone rules and FAA regulations, night operations training, national airspace systems, reading sectional charts, airport operations, weather and micrometeorology, and drone flight operations.
