Occupational Rehabilitation Counseling

Catalog description

This course examines didactic and experiential construct behaviors of practice concerns in rehabilitation counseling and emerging issues within the larger rehabilitation and disability communities. The course explores the role/status of persons with disabilities in society which identifies attitudes and preconceptions of the disabled population. Students draw upon their values, knowledge, and experiences in developing strategies devoted to respectfully meeting the needs of their clients
