This course provides theoretical and practical introductions to case management, business engagement, and the rehabilitation process with emphasis on vocational development and goals. Sociological, historical, and legal parameters are studied including cultural and ability variance as related to case management. The course covers rehabilitation counseling settings, advocacy, current trends in case management highlighting individual program design, counseling, utilization of resources, informed choice, and federal mandates.
