Catalog description

This course introduces students to rehabilitation counseling including history, organizations, diverse roles, and credentialing standards. The course focuses on counseling individuals with disabilities and related support systems which encompasses working in the school system and rehabilitation agencies. Coursework exposes students to different theories of rehabilitation counseling and practical application of models in work environments with emphasis on transition, supported employment, and centralized service delivery systems.
