Catalog description
An introduction to the principles of industrial automation technology, including basic functions, techniques, and tools used in warehousing and distribution centers and their role in logistics. Emphasis is placed on developing basic operations and maintenance competencies and introducing warehouse automated distribution center technology. Topics include safety, concepts concerning terminology, and operation of automated machines, tools, troubleshooting, blueprint analysis, measurement, electrical, pneumatic, and sensor operation. 54.00 hours lecture and 54.00 hours laboratory. (Same as IAT-10) (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
