Corequisite Support for PSYC-48

Catalog description

This support course for behavioral statistics (PSYC-48) is intended for students who require additional support to succeed in transfer-level behavioral science statistics course. It is a concurrent corequisite support course covering basic mathematical, statistical, and computational analyses designed to support students in behavioral statistics. Topics include various concepts from intermediate algebra and elementary statistics and how those concepts can be applied to social and behavioral science research. Designed to supplement material as it is covered in the concurrent behavioral statistics course. Ample problem-solving opportunities will help reinforce class concepts and guide students with a diverse approach to problem-solving processes, which will help them master concepts from behavioral statistics and social and behavioral research. 36.00 hours lecture.
