Catalog description

College-level algebra for those majoring in business, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics: polynomial, rational, radical, absolute value, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs; systems of equations; theory of polynomial equations; analytic geometry; sequences and series. Students cannot receive credit for MAT-9 if they have already received credit for MAT-10 or MAT-23. 90.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
