Catalog description

A thematic, interdisciplinary study of American autobiographical writing with an intersectional methodology. Close reading of American biographies and autobiographies of advocates, artists, leaders, resistors as examples of the ever evolving character of American identity. Exploration of indigenous resistance voices, abolitionist voices, feminist voices, Existentialist voices, and more. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
