Solid state devices (electronics), sensors, SCR (silicone control rectifier), transistors, proximity and light sensors used in most industrial and commercial installations. Different types of sensors used for controlling motors, conveyors, and lighting devices will be discussed. 36.00 hours lecture and 54.00 hours laboratory. (Same as ELC-75) (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
