Drywall and Acoustical Ceilings

Catalog description

Materials and methods used for acoustical ceilings combined with drywall installation. Seismic codes, materials, and requirements are also reviewed. Green building rating systems will be applied to selected acoustical and drywall materials. Installation for various grid systems will be discussed. Students will use the skills learned to complete a drywall-acoustical ceiling project. 27.00 hours lecture and 18.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
