Framing Curves and Arches

Catalog description

Framing methods for curves and arches and their related structural limitations. Identifies the various wall and ceiling types and the layout principles, and materials used for each. Lath applications and trim are also discussed. Students will use the skills presented to complete a framing project that includes curves and arches. 27.00 hours lecture and 18.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
