Catalog description

An overview of the basic concepts of construction, including city and regional planning, managing, contracting, designing, engineering, estimating, bidding, inspection and production work normally associated with construction. An overview of how building codes affect the design, materials and methods of constructing buildings and other projects. Students will be expected to participate in several field trips. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
