Catalog description

A study of the history, theory, and practice of the oral art of storytelling. The historical and current practice of the oral tradition of both prose and poetry will be covered using a multicultural perspective. Students will research, prepare, and perform stories from a variety of genres and cultures. Oral presentations required. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
