Catalog description

Further development of basic skills in listening, reading, speaking and writing. A continued emphasis on the acquisition of vocabulary, structures and grammatical patterns necessary for comprehension of standard spoken and written Mandarin Chinese at the beginning level. This course includes an expanded discussion of Chinese culture and daily life. 90.00 hours lecture and 18.00 hours laboratory. (TBA Option) (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
