Beginning Sculpture

Catalog description

An introduction to the fundamentals of sculpture design and creation. A variety of materials, such as clay, wax and plaster, will be used. Additive, subtractive and construction methods for creating the sculptural pieces will be explored, as well as other traditional and contemporary forms and techniques. Students pay for their own materials. (Materials fee: $15.00) 36.00 hours lecture and 72.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
