Catalog description

Intended for students currently enrolled in a content area lecture class where the curriculum and instruction depends on extensive academic and textbook readings. Students will receive instruction on and practice using different reading comprehension strategies designed for better understanding and retention of course readings and textbook material. 36.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
