Catalog description

This course will give learners a broad overview of the field of human development. Covering the entire human lifespan, from conception to death, this course explores concepts, terminology, principles, and theories that comprise an introductory course in human development. The course will examine biological, cognitive, and emotional growth and development within each developmental stage. The course will also explore grief and bereavement and self-care for the caregiver. The course will explore and apply current research methods and cultural influences through the lifespan.
