Studies statistical techniques for the systematic collection, presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. Studies statistical inference, including confidence intervals, Types I and II errors, hypothesis testing. Also includes descriptive statistics, basic probability theory, the Central Limit Theorem, distributions, linear regression, and correlation. May require use of a graphing calculator or computer software.
