Catalog description

Designed for students with no previous training in the language. Emphasizes development of basic communicative skills through practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Stresses vocabulary and grammar to enhance students' ability to speak and write in Spanish. Study of customs and values provides an increased awareness of the Spanish-speaking cultures. On completion, students are able to participate in uncomplicated conversations on everyday topics.
