Catalog description

Presents the major literary genres of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and drama, and their distinct characteristics. Students will be introduced to principal literary themes, relevant critical approaches, and various literary traditions and cultures. This course enhances appreciation of literature and prepares students for further literary study.
