Childrens Literature

Catalog description

Introduces the forms, functions, and merits of literature for children. Students will read and evaluate both classic and contemporary texts for a variety of age levels. Readings, lecture, class discussion, and projects will also explore historical and cultural contexts for, and influences upon, children's literature.
