Certified Drive Operate Pump Part I

Catalog description

This 33-hour course prepares the participant to perform fire apparatus maintenance, driving, positioning, operating/pumping and testing functions as recognized by NFPA 1002 (Standards for Fire apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications, Chapters 4 and 5). Participants who meet the prerequisites and successfully complete this course have two years from the course completion date to take the written and practical certification exams. Curriculum is based on the current edition of Jones & Bartlett Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Pump, Aerial, Tiller, and Mobile Water Supply text.
