In today's interconnected global economy, U.S. companies must navigate competition from abroad, making it essential for HR departments to adopt a global perspective. HR professionals and managers must cultivate sensitivity to international issues and labor practices to maintain a competitive edge. This course will examine the human resources challenges in a global context, focusing on labor practices in developing countries, multinational companies' strategies for complying with international ethical principles, and managing global operations to ensure positive experiences for both employees and organizations.
