Hiring qualified talent is no guarantee employees will achieve their full potential. Without continuous development and effective motivational strategies, much of this talent will remain untapped and wasted. This course focuses on the relationship between motivation and performance, drawing on established motivational theories to understand how organizations can foster high-performing teams. Students will examine the factors that influence motivation, including organizational culture, commitment, diversity, and employee empowerment, and explore strategies to effectively implement organizational change to enhance motivation and performance. (Previously HRM 344 Developing & Motivating Human Potential)
