Catalog description

The design, configuration and maintenance of switches, local area networks (LANs), virtual local area networks (VLANs) and wide area networks (WANs) are covered. Advanced router configurations, network management and security are also discussed. Working on a class project provides critical hands-on experience. Lectures followed by lab sessions. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: TELE 420 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-3-4
