Catalog description

Commonly used networking terminology and topologies, fundamental network devices, and internetworking fundamentals are covered. The OSI model and local area network (LAN) protocols are discussed. Network components such as repeaters, hubs, bridges, routers and switches will be used in basic network design. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: Take TELE 210 and one course in this group: CTEC 204 or CTEC 205 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
