Catalog description

Cellular and wireless systems are reviewed. Fixed Wireless Systems such as wireless local loop (WLL), wireless LANS (802.11) and packet data over wireless are discussed. Evolution of second Generation Cellular Systems to packet based technologies (GPRS and EDGE) is presented. Third Generation Systems (3G) are introduced. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: TELE 321 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
