Catalog description
An evolutionary process perspective of how technology (scientific, engineering, IT) strategy contributes to launch an innovation. Topics discussed include technological competences and capabilities, sources and patterns of innovation, creativity, innovation processes, collaborating, and market entry dynamics. This course will cover content relevant to both entrepreneurial enterprises and large corporations developing technological innovations. Case-based learning and a final project will be employed in the course. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: SBES 310 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
