Moving Images Production Workshop II

Catalog description

This course focuses on pre-production with emphasis on storyboarding for both live and animated productions. Topics include script design, script analysis, set and light design, camera and actor blocking, music and sound effects. Students are assigned to develop a complete package that includes a working script, script breakdown, production schedule, budget and scenery design. Students also conduct casting and auditioning sessions, screen tests and location scouting. At the end of this course, a number of scripts are selected for production in the following semester.
