Moving Images Production Workshop I

Catalog description

This course focuses on all the essentials of single camera production through lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises in the classroom. Emphasis is placed on the tools and technology, and their relation to the aesthetics and functional concerns of the director and cinematographer/videographer. Pairs of students (director/cameraperson) are assigned to produce and edit a short production under the supervision of the instructor. Required shooting and editing sessions for these projects are scheduled outside of class hours.
