The course introduces basic physical properties of solid state materials. Quantum mechanics will be used in the discussion of electronic states in solids. The course also focuses on special physical properties of semiconductors and their applications in electronic devices. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: PHYS 320 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
