Catalog description

Students will learn the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism making use of the tools of vector calculus and differential equations. Topics will include electrostatics, magnetostatics, elements of electrodynamics (Ohms Law and electromagnetic induction), and Maxwells equations. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: PHYS 225, MATH 260 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 4-0-4
