Catalog description

This course will demonstrate how a myriad of biological processes are governed by physical laws. Beginning with a molecular perspective, transitioning to a cellular and ultimately a network level, the student will learn how mechanics, statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, and polymer dynamics govern emergent properties of biological soft matter. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: PHYS 225 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
