Catalog description
This third clinical education experience is an 8-week clinical experience that allows the students to advance their knowledge and skills in preparation as entry-level physical therapists. Students must also be consistent and efficient in clinical performance while performing multiple tasks in the clinical environment. The student is evaluated at the midterm and in the final week of the experience using the Clinical Internship Evaluation Tool (CIET). Reflective journaling, a professional service contribution, and completion of the CIET self-assessment at mid-term and final are required. This course entails 320 hours of supervised clinical practice by a licensed physical therapist.
