Catalog description

Students will be introduced to Orthopedics and Rheumatology utilizing an organ-systems-based approach from the perspectives of epidemiology, etiology, clinical manifestations, clinical course, diagnostic tests, treatment, and prognosis. Formulating a differential diagnosis and diagnostic problem-solving will be a central focus. Radiology, pharmacology, pathology, preventive medicine, and referral are integrated into each system. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: PHAS 610, and Matriculation in the MA PS Program
