Doctoral Training & Networking Experience

Catalog description

The individual doctoral project and networking experience allows students to refine, enhance, and possibly implement their culminating doctoral dissemination project. The experiential component of the doctoral project may take place at the student's place of employment or other site of choice. The doctoral project and networking experience will expose the student to timely and practical issues with a focus on areas such as: clinical practice, research, administration, leadership, program, policy or product development, advocacy, education, or theory development. By the end of this course, students in collaboration with faculty and site partners will reflect upon their experience and finalize their individual projects in preparation for presenting and disseminating their projects via appropriate mechanisms or venues (e.g., publication, program development, business development, etc.)
