Professional Portfolio

Catalog description

Students in the Professional Portfolio course will learn and develop mechanisms that will enable them to actively track their professional development. Students will compile the professional portfolio as a collection of artifacts, materials and components of professional projects that document competencies, credentials, training, skills, clinical and professional experience, research, academic coursework, community-service initiatives and innovation. The professional portfolio will serve as a three-dimensional version of an exceptional resume. The professional portfolio will serve student professionals well throughout their studies and assist in their transition to advanced professional/clinical practice and the acquisition of new experiences and skills, and arrival at landmarks in both personal and career development.
