Professional Development Seminar I

Catalog description

This seminar is the first of four courses that will guide the student through the process of professional development. The focus throughout the courses will be on the development of a wide range of skills and attributes that comprise professionalism. Students will engage in self-reflection, self-assessment, goal setting and various activities that promote professional growth. Students will begin to develop their professional portfolio in this course and will continue it throughout each of the seminars. Students will also identify, engage in and document one professional development activity outside of this course per semester.
