Catalog description

Students participate in administering nursing care in a mental health facility. The experience allows the student nurse to interact with clients who have multiple health problems which have arisen within the context of a mental health or behavioral issue. Students administer nursing care in a variety of departments in the hospital settings. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: NURS 360, NURS 351, NURS 410 Corequisites: NURS 455 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 0-4-2
