Catalog description

This course introduces the Certificate in Nutrition, Exercise, and Well-Being for students in the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Health Professions. This course provides theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in the study of exercise science, fitness assessment and prescription, nutritional elements associated with exercise, and applied concepts of well-being, and heathy lifestyle changes. Application of exercise and fitness are directly related to health care providers for those who have training in Osteopathic Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies and Physical Therapy.
