Catalog description

This course will introduce students to the use of technology in a clinical setting . We will be exploring medical informatics~ bioinformatics and information technology as key components of today's personalized healthcare system. Personalized and patient center healthcare starts with electronic health records, which make complete and current patient information available when and where it is needed. Furthermore, informatics and information technology help clinicians and healthcare providers to make complex information useful in supporting clinical decisions, thus delivering the best standard of care for each patient.
