Clinical Clerkship: Ambulatory Male Medicine

Catalog description

This four week clerkship provides students with an opportunity to focus on the care of the male patient. The student will work side by side with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and medical professionals in an ambulatory care setting.Particular emphasis will be made in the issues unique to the male patient, prostate health,and a comprehensive approach to care. Prevention,screening and treatment with exposure to community outreach,patient education,and supportive services will be highlighted.
