Military Medicine

Catalog description

This 4- week clerkship allows military students to acquire necessary training and professional development skills and to gain an appreciation for the role of military medicine within the broader US public health system. Emphasis includes professionalism, leadership, cultural competence, and interpersonal and communication skills. The student will participate in diverse learning activities including didactic sessions and experiential workshops. A certificate of completion will be provided by the military.
