General Pediatrics

Catalog description

These four week clerkships provide students with the opportunity to work with a pediatric group and/or teaching service at an approved site from the medical school. During this clerkship, students will the skills that they already have and learn additional techniques that will aid them in the care and evaluation of the pediatric patient. During this rotation, students will have opportunities to provide pediatric care in a variety of clinical environment which may include: inpatient ward services, outpatient primary care & specialty clinics, emergency department, and the newborn nursery.
