Catalog description

This course aims to immerse Osteopathic Medical students in the methods and practice of teaching Osteopathic Manual Medicine. Through intensive study of the materials, clinical exposure, lab preparatory sessions and practice assessment item writing, students will develop their ability to teach in large and small group settings in which they will become more adept in conveying osteopathic philosophy, principles of diagnosis and treatment methods. Students will also prepare scholarly work in the form of an osteopathic case write up for presentation as well as have other opportunities for academic enrichment in osteopathy.
