Catalog description
This course focuses on a holistic approach to project and program management. The content deals with planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling projects - for example, product development, construction, information systems, new businesses, and special events. The course includes major topics of Strategy, Priorities, Organization, Project Tools, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Leadership. Primary class emphasis is on the project management process and tools. Project management is becoming more important in today's world. Mastery of key tools such as AI into project optimization and management may be employed to deliver distinct competitive advantage to organizations. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisites: MGMT 102, QANT 201 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
