Catalog description

Introduction of the mechanical principles of living organisms, particularly their movement and structure. The course introduces the students to concepts of mechanics as they apply to human activity. The course includes application of physical laws to human performance including, linear and angular motion, projectile motion, forces, impulse and momentum, fluid mechanics, and tissue mechanics. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: MENG 212, MENG 340 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 3-0-3
