Introduction to measuring techniques in mechanical engineering. Analysis of experimental data with emphasis on accuracy, errors, and uncertainty. Mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and optical instruments are used in the experiments performed, and their design, function, and limitations are studied. Prerequisite Course(s): Prerequisite: PHYS 170 Classroom Hours - Laboratory and/or Studio Hours – Course Credits: 0-3-1
